SCOPE The material defined by this specification is a grease composed of mineral oil and lithium soap. 2. APPLICATION This specification was released originally for grease

3、 used as a long life lubricant on power seat units and other body hardware applications requiring an extreme pressure low temperature performance grease. NOTICE: This grease shall be formulated so that it will not stain or soften painted exterior or interior automotive finishes, when evaluated accor

4、ding to FLTM BJ 26-1. 3. REQUIREMENTS 3.0 STANDARD REQUIREMENTS FOR PRODUCTION MATERIALS Material suppliers and part producers must conform to the Companys Standard Requirements For Production Materials (WSS-M99P1111-A). 3.2 COMPOSITION 3.2.1 Lithium 12 Hydroxy Stearate Soap 6.0 - 8.0% (ASTM D 128)

5、3.2.2 Polyethylene 2.0 - 4.0% (ASTM D 128) 3.2.3 Mineral Oil Remainder (ASTM D 128) 3.3 DROPPING POINT, min 175 C (ASTM D 566) 3.4 PENETRATION 310- 340 (ASTM D 217, worked 60 strokes) 3.5 LUBRICANT PAINT STAINING No stain or (Amber color grease only) softening (FLTM BJ 126-01) 3.7 QUALITY Material s

6、hall be a smooth homogeneous product free from abrasive particles, it shall be consistent in color and texture, and free from objectionable odors during normal storage.
