2、TER DISPERSION, AIR DRYING1. SCOPEThe material defined by this specification is a sprayable polychloroprenebase, water dispersed contact adhesive.2. APPLICATIONThis specification was released originally for material to bond foam backedheadlining cloth to ABS panel for C-pillar covering.3. REQUIREMEN

3、TS3.1 STATISTICAL PROCESSSupplier must conform to the requirements of Ford Quality SystemStandard Q-101. A mutually acceptable Control Plan as describedtherein is required for material/source approval. Appropriatestatistical tools must be used to analyze process/product data sothat variation in the

4、final product is continuously reduced.3.2 INFRARED SPECTROPHOTOMETRY AND/OR THERMAL ANALYSISFord Motor Company, at its option, may conduct infrared and/orthermal analysis of material/parts supplied to this specification.The IR spectra and thermograms established for initial approval shallconstitute

5、the reference standard and shall be kept on file at thedesignated material laboratory. All samples shall produce IR spectraand thermograms that correspond to the reference standard when testedunder the same conditions.3.3 CONDITIONING AND TEST CONDITIONSAll test values indicated herein are based on

6、material conditioned ina controlled atmosphere of 23 +/- 2 C and 50 +/- 5 % relativehumidity for not less than 24 h prior to testing and tested under thesame conditions unless otherwise specified.NOT TO BE USED FOR NEW DESIGN2015 01 07 N Status No replacement named L. Condit ion the material under test at 23 C and let thematerial rest for 30 minutes.3. Sta rt measuring with undisturbed material at a dippingdepth for

9、the spindle of 25 mm at 2,5 rpm.4. Af ter reaching the third time the deepest spindlepos ition, continue measuring in the same way atfrequencies of 5 rpm and 10 rpm.5. Rec ord the values for each frequency at the lowestspindle position (50 mm).6. The ave rage result as calculated from single values

10、ateach frequency shall conform to the requirementsspecified above.All samples shall produ ce flow diagrams established by usingrotational test equipment as Physica, Haake, Epprecht,Rheometrix etc. to identify characteristic of material.3.4.7 QualityThe material shall be a smooth homogeneous mixtu re

11、, free fromforeign materials and properties detrimental to normalproducti on use. 13、ge the material must pass all specificationrequirements.3.5 DRY MATERIAL PROPERTIES3.5.1 Peel Adhesion(FLTM BU 151-01, Method B1, Fig. 6)Preparation of Test Assemblies:Apply ad hesive on ABS panels (acc. to ESK-M2D456-B) and onfoam side of trim cloth (acc. to ESD-M5H13-A/B) at a coatingweight of app

14、rox. 150 to 200 g/m2. Condition cl oth specimensat an air temperature of 23 +/- 2 C for 30 minutes and ABSspecimens at an air temperature of 60 +/- 2 C fo r 15 minutes.Assemble the ABS parts with cloth specimens and firmly presstogether with a pressure of 0,3 - 0,5 MPa.3.5.1.1 Initial Peel Adhesion,

23、obtain the written approval of the Materials Engineeringactivity. Test data, t est samples and a new code identification areto be submitted with the request.Substance restrictions imposed by law, regulations or Ford isapplic able to the materials addressed by this document. Therestrictions are defin

24、ed in Engineering Material Specification WSS-M99P9999-A1, unless a d ifferent suffix (e.g., A2 or A3) is specifiedon the engineering document for the application.4. APPROVAL OF MATERIALSMat erials defined by this specification must have prior approval by theresp onsible Materials Engineering activit

25、y. Suppliers desiring approvalof thei r materials shall first obtain an expression of interest from theaffec ted Purchasing, Design and Materials Engineering activity. Uponrequest, the supplier shall submit to the affected Materials Engineeringactivity its own laboratory rep ort to the specification (test results, notnominal values), the material designation and code number, and testspecim ens for Ford evaluation. Upon approval, the material will be addedto the Engineering Material Approved Source List.
