2、EGULATOR SK-M99J9594-A NOT TO BE USED FOR NEW DESIGN 1. SCOPE The material defined by this specification is an aqueous solution of formic acid. 2. APPLICATION This material is used for the pH-regulation of cathodic electrocoat primers. Addition only according to suppliers notice. 3. REQUIREMENTS Mat

3、erial specification requirements are to be used for initial qualification of materials. 3.0 STANDARD REQUIREMENTS FOR PRODUCTION MATERIALS Material suppliers and part producers must conform to the Companys Standard Requirements For Production Materials (WSS-M99P1111-A). 3.1 CHEMICAL COMPOSITION Form

4、ic acid (HCOOH) 50 +/- 1% 3.2 TITRATION 1 mL of the material needs 11 +/- 0.5 mL 1 N potassium hydrixide (indicator bromine-thymol blue solution) 3.3 DENSITY at 20 C 1.12 +/- 0.02 (ASTM D 1475) 5. GENERAL INFORMATION The information given below is provided for clarification and assistance in meeting

5、 the requirements of this specification. 5.1 HEALTH HAZARD This material represents a potential health hazard. Affected Manufacturing Engineering activity must notify Medical and Safety Department of its presence in the plant to ensure that proper precautions are adopted. The locations in which it is to be used and stored must be included in the notification.
