SCOPEThe material defined by this specification is a synthetic rubber base, water dispersion adhesivewhich is airless sprayable.2. APPLICATIONThis specification was released origin

3、ally for material used to bond polyether polyurethane (PUR)foam, fabric, and fabric backed polyvinyl chloride (PVC) to ABS substrates, as well as to bondfabric and fabric backed PVC to the polyether (PUR) foam in a pressure bonding application.Compliance with the performance requirements of this spe

4、cification does not guarantee theadhesive will function for all potential applications on a vehicle. The specific design conditionshould be evaluated by a plant trial or laboratory simulation prior to release of the material.3. REQUIREMENTS3.0 STANDARD REQUIREMENTS FOR PRODUCTION MATERIALS Material

5、suppliers and part producers must conform to the Companys Standard Requirements For Production Materials (WSS-M99P1111-A). 3.4 COLOR White 3.5 VISCOSITY 5 000 - 10 000 mPa.s (ASTM D 1084, Method B, Brookfield Model RVF, #5 spindle at 20 rpm) 3.6 SOLIDS 50 %(ASTM D 2834, except heat 3 h at 100 +/- 2

It shall be suitable for the intended application. 3.13 STORAGE STABILITY The adhesive shall be stored in closed containers at temperatures of 10 - 27 C , away from all sources of heat or sunlight. Storag

10、e times greater than 3 months shall be avoided. At all times protect material from freezing. 3.14 FUNCTIONAL APPROVAL Materials being evaluated for approval to this specification shall be subjected to a production trial. Functional trial results must be approved by the affected assembly operation an

11、d Design Engineering. Results shall be made available to Materials Engineering prior to material approval and release.
