Condition samples by magnetizing all test
7、 sample magnets with a field of 40 - 45 kOe. Using a hysteresisgraph, establish baseline second quadrant demagnetization curve using material from same lot as test sample lot. Heat age samples for 45 h at 140 C +/- 3 C followed by 955 h at 125 C +/- 3 C. Magnet test samples must be placed on an alum
8、inum sheet with a minimum of 2 inches apart and 2 inches away from any ferrous metals. Do not place samples on the bottom of the chamber. Samples should be loaded so as not to obstruct oven air flow in order to maintain uniform heating of samples. Allow test samples to cool to room temperature prior
9、 to testing. Determine BR and HCi for aged test samples without remagnetization. Percent change is determined by comparison of aged data with data from established baseline. 3.9.4.1 Residual Induction (BR), - 1.0% max change 3.9.4.2 Intrinsic Coercive Force - 6.5% (HCi), max change 5.
