4、 040 0885 3 Equipment 3.1 Rigging Test Stand I for Rear Axles. 3.2 16 Dial Gages (1/100 Graduation). 3.3 Frame and Brackets to Attach the Dial Gages. 4 Preparation 4.1 Provide the rear axle housing with 8 mm bores (see page 5) at points 1, 3, 4, 6, 8, 9 and 11. 4.2 Glue a spindle point into the cent
5、er bore of the drive pinion for measuring points 3 and 8. 4.3 Assemble a prepared rear axle housing with the respective experimental gears according to drawing specification (with maximum values for bearing pretension). 4.4 An auxiliary rear axle must be prepared for the rear axle rigging test stand
6、 I. 4.5 Mount the test axle on the test stand as installed in the vehicle. 4.6 Attach frame and brackets to the test axle. 4.7 Attach the dial gages required for the test to the rear axle according to the drawing on page 5 and make a calibration. 5 Performance 5.1 For the test, the drive pinion is t
7、o be accelerated to approx. 70 min-1. 5.2 The output torque is a) Mdoutput = max. Mdengine i1st gear irear axle or, b) Mdoutput = AWR dyn. tire rolling radius Note: Md to a) applies when it is lower than Md to b); otherwise Md to b) is the applicable drive torque for the test. 9、ositive. 5.3.2 Load applied to the coast side (forward). y 25 % Mdoutput negative. y 50 % Mdoutput negative. y 75 % Mdoutput negative. y 100 % Mdoutput negative. 5.4 The teeth of the ring gear are to be lubricated with marking paste B 040 0885 before the test. 5.5 The dial gages must be set to zero
10、when turning the ring gear in driving direction (at no load). The concentricity error of rotating parts is considered by the maximum positive value (clockwise) during a 360rotation of the ring gear when setting the dial gages. 5.6 The maximum indicated values will be recorded on the data sheet on pa
11、ge 6. 6 Bogy 6.1 Only one rear axle will be used for the test. 6.2 The amount of deformation at the single measuring points shall be smaller or not considerably larger than the values of released rear axles. 7 Evaluation 7.1 The values indicated on the dial gages are evaluated and recorded on sheet
