It is Superceded for all future projects and replaced by GMW3172 1. PURPOSE The purpose of this test specification is to formulate the function - and fa

3、tigue test for the different warning buzzer which come to the application in our vehicles. 2. NUMBER OF THE TEST SAMPLE For the sampling and release test after this specification are to deliver 20 pieces of warning buzzer (10 pieces laboratory test and 10 pieces vehicle test) from the suppliers. The

4、 test sample must be continuously numbered and be delivered with a working test certificate, from which the fulfillment of this technical terms of delivery results (theoretical value and actual value determined by the supplier). 3. VISUAL TEST AND CHARACTERIZATION Material and performance of the war

5、ing buzzer may show no errors which is prover as disadvantageous in the usage. Manufacturing mark, buzzer type, nominal voltage as well as mark of the production period (monthly at least) must be well legibly and durably applied on the buzzer case or the base plate. 4. QUALITY SURVEILLANCE For the s

6、urveillance of production quality and the fulfillment of this specification is responsible the department QA. 5. APPROVAL THROUGH THE GMDAT TECHNICAL CENTER The buzzer supplied for the assembly in the production must correspond to the released parts of sample in every respect. Every change in buzzer

7、 compared with the released samples requires the approval of the GMDAT TECHNICAL CENTER. 6. MATERIALS All materials utilized for the buzzer must correspond to the drawing specifications and to the data in the releases. Accuracy = 0.5 % 7.3. Voltmeter for the range 15 V. Accuracy = 0.5 % 7.4. Recirculated Air Temperature Cabinet with ab

9、out 15 1 test room, minimum temperature are -40 3 K up to +90 2.5 K. Temperature accuracy 2.5 K. 7.5. Voltage Stabilizer for the current supply on the fatigue test for a voltage of 13 V 0.2 V. 7.6. Electrodynamical Oscillating Table for the accomplishment of vibratory test. 7.7. Test Apparatus for t

Wave analyzer for the determination of armature frequency. 8. ESTS 8.1. Test Situation The buzzer are so mounted, that the connections i

11、ndicate downwards vertically. 8.2. Operational Test 8.2.1. General Requirements 8.2.1.1 After 24 - hours storage at -40 3 K or rather 24 - hours storage at +80 2.5 K or rather 1 - hour storage at +90 2.5K and following test at the prescribed voltages and at +23 5 K of the test sample must be satisfi

12、ed the values of function. 8.2.1.2 The buzzer may yield no interference pulse which exceed the limit values after EDS-T-5515 in the mains power supply. 13、y not be damaged in their function, when interference pulse of approved order appear at their clamping, as described in EDS-T-5515. 8.2.2. The buzzer must correctly function in the range of temperature of -30 3K up to +60 2.5K and at voltage of 9V 0.2V up to 15V 0.2V. 8.2.3. The current consumption

14、at 13V 0.2V may amount to maximum 250 mA. 8.2.4. The signal strengh is measured in the uncovered part of a slab in 1m istance. (It must amount to minimum 60 f (A) at 13V.) 8.2.5. The fundamental frequency of the armature is determined from the radiated sound or the course of current. It is formulate

15、d on the drawing for every buzzer type and must be kept with a tolerance of 100 . 8.3. Fatigue Test of Switching For the fatigue test are tested every 5 buzzer as follows : 8.3.1. The test takes place over 10 000 switching cycles at 13 V 0.2 V test voltage at +23 5 K ambient temperature. 1 cycle = 5

16、 s “input“ - 5 s “output“ 8.3.2. The test takes place as continuous switching - in over 5 h 5 min at +13 V 0.2 V test voltage at +23 5 K ambient temperature. 8.3.3. Evaluation of the Test Results During and after the fatigue test may appear no malfunction at the buzzers. If a buzzer fails by malfunc

17、tion early during the fatigue test, a retest is to accomplish with 20 buzzers. If 2 or more buzzers fail, then the sampling is to reject. 8.4. Water Protective Test The test takes place in sample after clause. 8.1 with inserted multi plug. The buzzers are to test after DIN 40050 IPX 3. 8.5. Corrosio

18、n Test The test takes place in test sample after clause. 8.1 with inserted multi plug in the condenser water - climate after EDS-T-7005, when exist following requirements : condenser water - climate test after EDS-T-7005 -D3- grade 2, efficient function. Oscillation Test (Function Test) The buzzers are mounted in test sample after clause. 8.1 and must be workable on oscillations sine - shaped and active in all 3 main directions with frequencies 10 to 50 by change

20、in frequency of 1 octave/min and by constant amplitude of 0.5 mm (corresponding to 2g at 10 and 5 g at 50 ). Test period in the 3 oscillatory directions : every 15 min. 8.7. Drop Test For the accomplishment of drop test is utilized a dropping tower, as it is sketched on page 5. The buzzer is freely

21、abandoned from the above edge of tower. After 3 - times drop test may not disturbed the function of buzzer. 9. VEHICLE TEST The buzzer may not fail on a vehicle test over a travelway to formulate by the GMDAT TECHNICAL CENTER under normal or specifally formulated driving conditions by malfuncition. In case that the supplier of the parts has to accomplish a respective test, this is to come to an agreement in particular.
