The JTU Telecommunication Standardization Sector (ITU-T) is a permanent
8、 organ of the IT. Some 179 member countries, 84 telecom operating entities, 145 scientific and industrial organizations and 38 international organizations participate in ITU-T which is the body which sets world telecommunications standards (Recommendations). The approval of Recommendations by the Me
9、mbers of ITU-T is covered by the procedure laid down in WTSC Resolution No. 1 (Helsinki, 1993). In addition, the World Telecommunication Standardization Conference (WTSC), which meets every four years, approves Recommendations submitted to it and establishes the study programme for the following per
10、iod. In some areas of information technology which fall within IT-Ts purview, the necessary standards are prepared on a collaborative basis with IS0 and IEC. 14、ent messages between Operations Systems (OS). This constrains industry from adoption of other applicable communications solutions whilst still remaining compliant to OS1 systems management functions. This Technical corrigendum makes provision for other communications protocols to be used although it
15、 does not specify what these are. It further corrects an ambiguity that can cause an Operations Systems (OS) implementor to develop software that will not work correctly with another vendors OS product for a small number of message types.
