7、rt“ package of TTCN-3. TTCN-3 can be used for the specification of all types of reactive system tests over a variety of communication ports. Typical areas of application are protocol testing (including mobile and Internet protocols), service testing (including supplementary services), module testing

8、, testing of Common Object Request Broker Architecture (CORBA) based platforms, testing of application programming interfaces (APIs), etc. TTCN 3 is not restricted to conformance testing and can be used for many other kinds of testing including interoperability, robustness, regression, system and in

9、tegration testing. The specification of test suites for physical layer protocols is outside the scope of this Recommendation. ITU-T Z.161.1 (10/2017) FOREWORD The International Telecommunication Union (ITU) is the United Nations specialized agency in the field of telecommunications, information and communication technologies (ICTs). The ITU Telecommunication Standardization Sector (I

12、TU-T) is a permanent organ of ITU. ITU-T is responsible for studying technical, operating and tariff questions and issuing Recommendations on them with a view to standardizing telecommunications on a worldwide basis. The World Telecommunication Standardization Assembly (WTSA), which meets every four

13、 years, establishes the topics for study by the ITU-T study groups which, in turn, produce Recommendations on these topics. The approval of ITU-T Recommendations is covered by the procedure laid down in WTSA Resolution 1. In some areas of information technology which fall within ITU-Ts purview, the

14、necessary standards are prepared on a collaborative basis with ISO and IEC. NOTE In this Recommendation, the expression “Administration“ is used for conciseness to indicate both a telecommunication administration and a recognized operating agency. Compliance with this Recommendation is voluntary. Ho

15、wever, the Recommendation may contain certain mandatory provisions (to ensure, e.g., interoperability or applicability) and compliance with the Recommendation is achieved when all of these mandatory provisions are met. The words “shall“ or some other obligatory language such as “must“ and the negati

16、ve equivalents are used to express requirements. The use of such words does not suggest that compliance with the Recommendation is required of any party. 20、Support of interfaces with continuous signals 1 Scope This Recommendation defines the “continuous signal support“ package of TTCN-3. TTCN-3 can be used for the specification of all types of reactive system tests over a variety of communication ports. Typical areas of application are protocol testing

21、 (including mobile and Internet protocols), service testing (including supplementary services), module testing, testing of CORBA based platforms, APIs, etc. TTCN-3 is not restricted to conformance testing and can be used for many other kinds of testing including interoperability, robustness, regress

22、ion, system and integration testing. The specification of test suites for physical layer protocols is outside the scope of this Recommendation. TTCN-3 packages are intended to define additional TTCN-3 concepts, which are not mandatory as concepts in the TTCN-3 core language, but which are optional a

23、s part of a package which is suited for dedicated applications and/or usages of TTCN-3. This package defines concepts for testing systems using continuous signals, as opposed to discrete messages, and the characterization of the progression of such signals by use of streams. While the design of TTCN

24、-3 package has taken into account the consistency of a combined usage of the core language with a number of packages, the concrete usages of, and guidelines for, this package in combination with other packages is outside the scope of this Recommendation. 2 References The following ITU-T Recommendati
