SCOPE 1.1 Sopc. This spccification covcrs repair tape for the insulation of spliccs and for making watertight rcpa

2、irs o11 magnetic minesvccping cable sheaths. 1.2 Classification. Repair tapc shall be of the following types, as specifie (see 6.1) : Typo I - Synthetic or natural rubber. Type II - Synthetic or natural rubber coatcd cotton fabric. 2. APPLICABLE WCIlLiITc 2.1 # The following dounciits of the issue i

When tested as specified

19、 in 4.5.5, he tape shall not unwind more than two and one-mrns in the first 2 minutes, during which time it shall sustain the weight or shall break at the point of unwinding. 3.7.2 s. 3.8 Tackiness. After being aged as specified in 4.5.10 and then tested as specified in 4.5.5, the tape shall conform

20、 to the requirements specified in 3.7.1. 3.8.1 Initial. When tested as specified in 4.5.6, the tape shall not show any tendency to unwind. - 3.8.2 m. 3.9 Dielectric strength. 3.9.1 Initial.
