The ASEs used by one or more of the CDPD Service Provider Network applications are described in the following subsections.1.1.1 Association Control Service Element (ACSE)The Association Control Service Element (ACSE) ISO-8650

ROSE ISO-9072-2 may be used by the Common Management Information Protocol and the CCITT 1988 Message Handling System
30、s. 1.1.3 Reliable Transfer Service Element (RTSE)The Reliable Transfer Service Element (RTSE) provides the facilities to reliably transfer large amounts of data between distributed application processes. RTSE uses the Activity and Minor-synchronize functional units of the session layer to set checkp

RTSE ISO-9066-2 is optionally used by the CCITT 1988 Message Handling Systems application.2 Network ManagementThe CDPD Network Management application provides system
32、 monitoring and operation functions of the CDPD Network. Each CDPD Network element is managed through the use of cooperating ISO network management conformant applications. The upper layer CDPD Network Management applications are specified in Part 700 through Part 751. Network Management interchange

The CDPD Message Handling Systems (MHSs) shall be implemented in accordance with the CCITT 1988 MHS Recommendations. Such MHSs provide significant additional services that are not fo
