A universal x-ray raceway system shall be provided in the radiographic, fluoroscopic and deep therapy rooms. Racewa
2、y size and layout shall be adequate to accommodate equipment of any of the major manufacturers. Floor slab shall be depressed sufficiently to accommodate the raceways. In existing hospitals where it is not feasible to provide a universal x-ray raceway system in the floor slab, point to point conduit system for fluoroscopic, radiographic and deep therapy rooms shall be run below floor or ceiling slab.
