Bond cladding on one side of base metal. Nominal thickness of the cladding shall be 10 percent of the nominal total plate thickness or 2 mm 1/16 inch, whichever is greater. Do not vary the thickness of the cladding under the thickness specified by more than 2 percent of the nominal thickness of the clad plate.
