Materials and Manufacture6.1 Materials:6.1.1 The material of manufacture shall be a form of CopperAlloy UNS No. C49300 of such purity and soundness as to besuitable for processing into the products prescribed herein.6.1.2 In the event heat identification or traceability isreq
20、uired, the purchaser shall specify the details desired.NOTE 1Due to the discontinuous nature of the processing of castingsinto wrought products, it is not always practical to identify a specificcasting analysis with a specific quantity of finished material.6.2 Manufacture:6.2.1 The product shall be
21、manufactured by such hot work-ing, cold working, and annealing processes as to produce auniform wrought structure in the finished product.6.2.2 The product shall be hot or cold worked to the finishedsize, and subsequently annealed when required, to meet thetemper properties specified.7. Chemical Com
22、position7.1 The material shall conform to the chemical compositionrequirements in Table 1 for copper alloy UNS No. C49300specified in the ordering information.7.2 These composition limits do not preclude the presenceof other elements. By agreement between the manufacturer andpurchaser, limits may be
23、 established and analysis required forunnamed elements.7.3 For alloys in which zinc is listed as “remainder,” zinc isthe difference between the sum of results of all elementsdetermined and 100 %. When all elements in Table 1 aredetermined, the sum of results shall be 99.5 % min.8. Temper8.1 The stan

32、cal AnalysisChemical composition shall bedetermined in accordance with the element mean of the resultsfrom at least two replicate analyses of the sample(s).14.2 Retest:14.2.1 When requested by the manufacturer or supplier, aretest shall be permitted when results of tests obtained by thepurchaser fai
33、l to conform to the requirements of the productspecification.14.2.2 The retest shall be as directed in the product speci-fication for the initial test, except the number of test specimensshall be twice that normally required for the specified test.14.2.3 All test specimens shall conform to the produ
34、ctspecification requirement(s) in retest. Failure to conform shallbe cause for rejection.15. Test Methods15.1 Chemical Analyses:15.1.1 In cases of disagreement, the resolution of thedispute shall be subject to agreement between the manufactureror supplier and purchaser. Inspection17.1 The manufacturer, or supplier, shall inspect and maketests necessary to verify the furnished product conforms tospecification
40、 requirements.17.2 Source inspection of the product by the purchaser maybe agreed upon between the manufacturer, or supplier, and thepurchaser as part of the purchase order. In such case, the natureof the facilities needed to satisfy the inspector, representing thepurchaser, that the product is bein
41、g furnished in accordancewith the specification shall be included in the agreement. Alltesting and inspection shall be conducted so as not to interfereunnecessarily with the operation of the works.17.3 When mutually agreed upon, the manufacturer, orsupplier, and the purchaser shall conduct the final
42、 inspectionsimultaneously.18. 46、im for a rehearing.18.2 Rehearing:18.2.1 As a result of product rejection, the manufacturer, orsupplier, shall have the option to make claim for a retest to beconducted by the manufacturer, or supplier, and the purchaser.Samples of the rejected product shall be taken in accordancewith the product sp
