Terminology3.1 The terms used in this specification are defined inTerminology C 125 or Specification C 1141.4. Ordering Information4.1 In the absence of designated applicable
7、general specifi-cations, the purchaser shall include the following informationin the purchase contract or order, if applicable:4.1.1 The specification designation and date of issue,4.1.2 Specification for cement and type (see 5.1.1),4.1.3 Grading number for total combined aggregates re-quired (see 5
8、.1.2),4.1.4 Specification, type, and grade(s) for admixtures re-quired (see 5.1.4), and4.1.5 Specification, type, length, and, if appropriate, thediameter (or equivalent cross-sectional dimensions) of fiberrequired (see 5.1.5).5. Material Requirements5.1 In the absence of designated applicable speci
9、ficationscovering requirements for quality of materials, the followingrequirements shall govern:5.1.1 CementCement shall be in accordance with Speci-fication C 150, Specification C 595, or Performance Specifica-tion C 1157. If special properties are required, the purchasershall limit the choice of c
10、ements to those suitable for thespecial use.5.1.2 AggregatesAggregates shall be in accordance withSpecification C 33 or Specification C 330 if lightweight shot-crete is specified by the purchaser except that the grading of thetotal aggregate constituent of the shotcrete shall be in accor-dance with
11、the requirements prescribed in Table 1 for thegrading number specified.NOTE 1The ranges shown in Table 1 are by necessity wide in order toaccommodate nationwide conditions. For quality control of any specificoperation, a producer should develop an average grading for the particularsource and product
12、ion facilities, and control the grading within reasonabletolerances from this average.5.1.3 WaterThe mixing water shall be in accordance withthe requirements for water prescribed in Specification C 1116.5.1.4 AdmixturesMineral and chemical admixtures shallbe in accordance with Specification C 1141.5

Sampling6.1 Access shall be provided to the purchaser for sampling,either at the point of manufacture or at the site of the w
16、ork, asspecified by the purchaser. Sampling of materials shall be inaccordance with Practice C 1385.7. Number of Tests and Retests7.1 Testing, number of tests, and retests to be performed onspecified materials shall be in accordance with the referencedASTM standard.8. Inspection8.1 Inspection of the
17、 materials shall be agreed upon betweenthe purchaser and the supplier as part of the purchase contract.9.
