Alternativestandardisedprocedurescanbeused,providedtheyhaveatleastthesameacceptanceinspectionas theweldsspecifiedinthispart4.Themeasuredparameteristhespeedofthetranslationalandrotational movementsrequiredtoperformtheweldingoperati

Theweldingspeedisoneofthesignificantparametersinelectronbeamwelding.Theworkpieceortheweldpoint shallthusbemovedatauniformspeed,inareproduciblemanner,withingivenshorttermandlongtermlimits.The purposeofthemeasurementistocheckwhetherthevariationsinweldingspeedaremaintainedwithintheselimits. 2Normat

24、ment 3.1Electricaltestarrangement Totakeaccountofallinterferencesaffectingtheweldingspeed,themeasurementshallbemadedirectlyonthe workpieceoronthedevicepositioningtheworkpieceoronamovableelectrongun,ifappropriate.Suitable transducers,withalinearresponse,maybeusedtotransmitthetranslationalorrotational

Forgreateraccuracyofmeasurement,thisspecialsupporthastofulfillthefollowingrequirements: a)itshallkeepthetransducerfirmlyinplacewithminimumvibration,e.g.ontheworktablesupporting structureorontheworkchamber.Insomecases,multiaxialsupportofthetransdu

28、cermightbenecessary; b)itshallallowforacertainyieldinthecontactbetweenfrictionwheelandcontactsurface,e.g.bymeansof aresilientmetalangle(seefigure2).Anyslipoccurringisatonceevidentinthemeasurementandcanbe compensatedforbyslightlyincreasingthepressureapplication. Rotarytransducersmayalsobeusedforspeed

29、measurementsundervacuum.Relevantinformationmaybe obtainedfromthemanufacturerofthetransducer.Forsuchmeasurement,afeedthroughtoaccommodatea multicorecableisrequiredforconnectingthetransducerandthefrequencyvoltageconverter. 4Measurementprocedure 4.1General Themeasurementsshallbecarriedoutwiththewelding

30、machinesetasspecifiedin6.3of ENISO147441:2000.
