Fuel to this standard is intended for use in highspeed diesel
33、powered equipment for onroad and offroad applications and in select equipment powered by mediumspeed diesel engines.Users of fuel meeting this standard are advised to refer to the owners manual of their vehicle, engine or equipment, or to consult with their equipments manufacturer regarding the suit
34、ability of the specific fuel blend prior to its use1, 2.Fuel to this standard is intended for use in diesel enginepowered equipment that is approved by manufacturers, or suitably converted, to be compatible with fuel blends conforming to this standard. The blends of biodiesel covered by this standar
35、d are more appropriate for fleets and users who understand and can manage the potential risks.Fuel meeting this standard may be used for underground mining applications that were formerly covered by CAN / CGSB3.16 (See footnote a and Annex C for notes related to the flash point).Many types of vehicl
36、es, engines and equipment (either new or older) are not designed for fuel blends covered by this standard (B6B20), and use of such biodiesel blends could result in unsatisfactory operation, engine or equipment damage.Experience with B6 to B20 biodiesel fuel blends under Canadian conditions is limite

This fuel is intended for use when ambient temperatures and fuel storage conditions permit.Fuels meeting this standard may not be available in areas that experience low temperatures during fall, winter and spring, due to the difficulty of making these biodiesel blends meet the specified low tempe
