Without thi
19、s information, a specification of works as required in 7 ff., 7 EU ff. or 7 VS ff. of VOB/A (DIN 1960) cannot be properly drawn up. This information does not form part of the contract. The specification of works shall, in particular, include the following information as and when applicable. 0.1 Site
20、 information No information is required supplementary to that specified in DIN 18299, subclause 0.1. 0.2 Details of execution of work 0.2.1 Type and size of sub-base and condition of its surface. 0.2.2 Any unusual (inward and upward) effects of humidity and temperature to which the flooring will be

32、struction and dimensions: preparation of sub-base (e.g. cleaning, application of smoothing compound, sanding), parquet flooring, wood block flooring, underlay, protective coverings, surface treatment. 0.5.2 Length (m), accounted for separately according to type of construction and dimensions: trimmi
33、ng of flanking strip at walls and of coverings, skirtings, profiles, beads, battens and their associated finishing work, working up to boundary components (e.g. fitments, fixtures, etc.), joints. 0.5.3 Number of items, accounted for separately according to type of construction and dimensions: access
34、 doors, openings and the like, laying of flooring on steps, thresholds and the like, and associated finishing work, roses. DIN 18356:2016-09 7 1 Scope 1.1 This standard deals with the laying of parquet flooring and wood block flooring indoors. 1.2 This standard does not cover the laying of joists or
35、 installation of false floors (see DIN 18334). 1.3 DIN 18299, clauses 1 to 5 shall also apply. In cases where the specifications of DIN 18299 contradict the present standard, DIN 18356 shall take precedence. 2 Materials and components The specifications of DIN 18299, clause 2 shall be supplemented a
36、s follows: The DIN Standards and other requirements given below cover the most commonly used materials and components. 2.1 Parquet and wood block flooring DIN 68702 DIN EN 13226 DIN EN 13227 DIN EN 13228 DIN EN 13488 DIN EN 13489 DIN EN 13629 DIN EN 13990 DIN EN 14342 DIN EN 14761 The moisture conte
37、nt of the parquet and wood blocks, upon delivery on site, shall be as specified in the above standards. 2.2 Wood skirtings and cover strips The quality requirements specified in parquet flooring standards shall apply by analogy to wood skirtings and cover strips. 2.3 Nails DIN EN 10230-1 2.4 Adhesiv
38、es 2.4.1 General Adhesives shall provide a strong and permanent bond. They shall not unduly affect the parquet or wood block flooring, underlay or sub-base, or cause an unpleasant smell after application. 39、oring DIN 68702 2.5 Flooring finishes Flooring finishes shall be such that, in combination with the appropriate care, they protect the surface of the parquet or wood block flooring against the temporary ingress of dirt and fluids. 3 Execution of work The specifications of DIN 18299, clause 3 shall b
40、e supplemented as follows: 3.1 General 3.1.1 Reservations according to VOB/B (DIN 1961), 4, clause 3 could involve in particular the following: any level of the sub-base which is not compatible with that of adjacent building elements, any surface irregularities in the sub-base exceeding the toleranc
41、es specified in DIN 18202, cracks in the sub-base; the surface of the sub-base, if this is soiled, too weak, too porous or too rough, any missing stop beads, sills, etc. up to or against which the flooring is to be laid, the absence of protruding flanking strip at edges, the surface of the sub-base
42、if this is not sufficiently dry to be covered, in floors with underfloor heating, any missing marking of measuring points, any unsuitable temperature of the sub-base, unsuitable conditions as a consequence of the weather conditions or indoor climate. 3.1.2 If conditions are unsuitable due to the wea
43、ther or the indoor climate (e.g. component temperatures below 15 C for laying work), special precautions shall be taken, in consultation with the client. If work is necessary as a result, this shall count as a special task (see subclause 4.2.16). 3.1.3 Deviations from the dimensions specified are pe
44、rmitted subject to their compliance with the tolerances specified in DIN 18202. Surface irregularities, visible in glancing light, are permitted subject to their compliance with the tolerances specified in DIN 18202. If surfaces are required to conform to requirements regarding flatness more stringe
45、nt than specified in DIN 18356:2016-09 9 DIN 18202:2013-04, Table 3, line 4 or to other requirements regarding dimensional accuracy specified in the same standard, the necessary work counts as a special task (see subclause 4.2.1). 3.1.4 Parquet or wood block flooring shall only be laid on a sub-base
46、 that is sufficiently dry. In order to avoid damage to the underfloor heating systems, the moisture content shall only be measured at the appropriately marked points. 3.1.5 The contractor shall provide the client with care instruction documents. These shall also contain information regarding the sui
47、table indoor climate. 3.2 Laying of parquet flooring 3.2.1 General 3.2.1.1 Parquet flooring shall be made from elements of class O. Solid softwood floor boards shall be class A. Skirtings and cover strips that are not to be painted shall be of the class specified above. 3.2.1.2 Parquet flooring shal
48、l be laid without an underlay. 3.2.1.3 The laying pattern shall be left to the contractor. 3.2.1.4 The moisture content of the parquet elements shall be as specified in the standards listed in subclause 2.1, including during laying. 3.2.1.5 The mean moisture content of parquet elements (on delivery) shall be specified to suit the anticipated indoor climate. 3.2.1.6 Joints shall be provided between the parquet flooring and fixed adjacent building elements (e.g. walls, piers, columns). Their width shall depend on the type of parquet, laying pattern, and dimensions o
