National foreword This document (EN 54-12:2015) has been prepared by Technical Committee CEN/TC 72 “Fire detection and fire alarm systems” (Secretariat: BSI, United Ki

8、ngdom). The responsible German body involved in its preparation was the DIN-Normenausschuss Feuerwehrwesen (DIN Standards Committee Firefighting and Fire Protection), Working Group NA 031-02-01-13 AK Brandmelder Gruppe B of Working Committee NA 031-02-01 AA Brandmelde- und Feueralarmanlagen. This Eu

9、ropean product standard specifies requirements for line-type smoke detectors using an optical beam for use in fire detection and alarm systems permanently installed in buildings (referred to in German as “BMS” and “BMA” equipment). The system requirements and technical application rules for fire ala

10、rms set off in buildings by smoke detectors complying with this standard are specified in DIN 14675 and DIN VDE 0833-2 (VDE 0833 Part 2). Certification of conformity of these products with the requirements specified in this European Standard is based on conformity evaluation of the products carried

11、out by “Notified Bodies” in accordance with EU Regulation No. 305/2011 (see Annex ZA). Amendments This standard differs from DIN EN 54-12:2003-03 as follows: a) the different clauses have been restructured in accordance with the Construction Products Regulation; b) Clause 2 “Normative references” ha

12、s been updated; c) in Clause 3 the definition of “response value” (3.8) has been modified; d) in Clause 4 the requirements have been updated and grouped together in one clause; e) in Clause 5 “Testing, assessment and sampling methods” the test methods have been extended and updated; DIN EN 54-12:201

13、5-10 3 f) Clause 6 “Assessment and verification of constancy of performance (AVCP)” has been added; g) Clause 7 “Classification and designation” has been added; h) Clause 8 “Marking, labelling and packaging” has been added; i) Clause 6 of DIN EN 54-12:2003-03 has been deleted and moved in parts to C
