20、neral 1.1 Scope and object The purpose of this part of IEC 1300 is to determine the effect on a fibre optic device of reduced air pressure, such as might be encountered at high altitudes. 1.2 General description This procedure is conducted in accordance with IEC 68-2-13, test M. The specimen is intr
21、oduced into the chamber at standard atmosphere and temperature conditions. The pressure within the chamber is then reduced to the specified value and maintained for the required duration, after which the ait pressure will be returned to normal. 1.3 Normative reference The following normative documen
