、is method is used to determine the flow properties of underbody coatings applied by spraying. Apparatus Required Fixture See Figure 1. Mechanical Convection Oven Capable of maintaining a temperature of 105 +/- 2 C. Materials Required Test Panels Steel body skin panels; thickness approximately 0.85 m
、m, surface finish 0.9 - 1.8 micrometre CLA, dimensions 300 x 300 mm; prepared according to the applicable Engineering Material Specification. Tape Pressure-sensitive paperbacked such as M-3G25A or U-MG003-8001 (Grade 01). Conditioning and Test Conditions All test values indicated herein are based on
、 material conditioned in a controlled atmosphere of 23 +/- 2 C and 50 +/- 5 % relative humidity for not less than 24 h prior to testing and tested under the same conditions unless otherwise specified. Procedure 1. The closed container of underbody coating shall be conditioned for 24 h minimum at 23
、+/- 2 C prior to application. 2. Apply tape strips on 2 prepared test panels at distance of 80 mm from the edge (refer to Figure 1). 6、ickness as required in the applicable Engineering Material Specification. Place panels immediately in a vertical position on the fixture, then remove the tape from both panels. 4. a) Measure the maximum flow of material on 1st panel under test after 30 minutes at 23 +/- 2 C. b) Condition second pane
、l for 15 minutes at 23 +/- 2 C, measure the maximum flow of the material, then place in the oven at 105 +/- 2 C for 15 minutes, and measure the maximum flow of material. Evaluation After removal of test specimen from the oven, measure the flow of sealer and express results in mm. Chemicals, material
