2、NON WOVEN, RANDOM VELOUR, NEEDLED, MOLDABLE POLYETHYLENE, MASS BACKED 585 g/m2 (17 oz), 100% PCR/PIR CONTENT 1. SCOPE The materials defined by these specifications are random velour, needled, nonwoven carpets of good quality and uniform composition. The carpet face is made with 100% post consumer /

3、post industrial fiber. 2. APPLICATION This specification was released originally for floor carpet applications on B and C car platforms as part of the GCBP strategy. 3. REQUIREMENTS 3.1 APPROVED SOURCES This specification requires the use of approved sources. Only the sources identified on the Ford

4、Approved Source List (ASL) can be used when this specification is listed on the drawing, CAD file, or other documents. The list of approved sources is located within Ford at or available externally through a Ford Materials Engineer. 3.2 CONDITIONING AND TEST CONDITIONS All test values are based on

5、material conditioned for not less than 24 h prior to testing in a controlled environment of 23 +/- 2 C and 50 +/- 5% relative humidity. Testing of the material should occur in the conditioning environment or soon after removal. 3.3 PERFORMANCE CRITERIA 3.3.1 In addition to the requirements listed he

6、rein, the end-item floor carpet shall be tested to WSS-M8P16-B and any additional SDS requirements. The details for each of the supplier specific construction shall be documented in the supplement attached and maintained in the scanned data package. 3.3.2 Vehicle Interior Environment Quality Materia

7、ls/Component Performance Requirements Materials used in interior applications must meet the requirements outlined in WSS-M99P2222-D1/ latest. Page 2 of 4 3.3.3 Recycled Content This specification must contain 100% recycled content as defined by WRS- M99P42-A2 (Textile Materials, Identification of Recycled Content). 3.4 SAMPLE SELECTION All evaluations shall be conducted on test specimens taken from finished assemblies. 3.5 APP
