SCOPE The material defined by this specification is a flame/adhesive laminable polyether polyurethane foam with a controlled cell size an
3、d a polyethylene film laminated to one side as an assembly aid. 2. APPLICATION This specification was released originally for material used in the construction of a low pressure foam-in place headrest. 3. REQUIREMENTS Material specification requirements are to be used for initial qualification of ma

Vinyl fabric and fabric composites made with this foam must also meet the requirements of the composite Material Specifications as listed in para 5.1. 3.0 STANDARD REQUIREMENTS FOR PRODUCTION MATERIALS Material suppliers and part producers must conform to the Companys Standard Requirements
5、For Production Materials (WSS-M99P1111-A). 3.4 THICKNESS Foam 3 - 5 mm or as (FLTM BN 115-07) specified on the engineering drawing Polyethylene Film As required to provide a slip surface The polyethylene film is not intended as a barrier film and should allow adequate adhesion between this foam and
6、the foam-in-place polyurethane foam. 3.5 CELL STRUCTURE The polyurethane foam shall have a small, uniform, and void free cell structure. Visual standards shall be established, as jointly agreed between the foam supplier and the user. 3.6 DENSITY, min 24 kg/m3(ASTM D 3574, Test A) 3.7 TEAR RESISTANCE
