SCOPE This material specification defines the minimum acceptable performance requirements and physical/chemical properties of an anti-wear pre-lubricant used to aid in break-in of e

APPLICATION This specification was originally released for a material to be applied to distributor and camshaft gears prior to initial start-up to allow break-in without causing scoring or excessive wear of the distributor gear. 3. REQUIREMENTS 3.0 STANDARD REQUIREMENTS FOR PROD

4、UCTION MATERIALS Material suppliers and part producers must conform to the Companys Standard Requirements For Production Materials (WSS-M99P1111-A). 3.4 COMPOSITION This material will be composed of a secondary alkyl zinc dithiophosphate, nominally 90 % by weight, in a mineral oil. 3.5 VISCOSITY (ASTM D 445) At 100 C 11.3 - 11.5 mm2/s 3.6 DENSITY at 15 C 1.16 - 1.18 g/cm3(ASTM D 1298) 3.7 FLASH POINT 102 118 C (ASTM D 92) 3.8 PHOSPHORUS 9.3 - 9.7 % wt (ASTM D 4951) 3.9 ZINC 9.0 - 11.2% wt (ASTM D 4951) 3.10 SULFUR 19.0 - 21.6% wt (ASTM D 4951)
