SCOPE The material defined by this specification is a polyacrylic rubber compound. 2. APPLICATION This specification was released originally for material u

3、sed for rotating shaft oil seals in manual transmissions. 3. REQUIREMENTS 3.0 STANDARD REQUIREMENTS FOR PRODUCTION MATERIALS Material suppliers and part producer must conform to the Companys Standard Requirements For Production Materials (WSS-M99P1111-A). 3.4 SLAB STOCK 3.4.1 Preparation of Test Spe

4、cimens All tests are to be performed on specimens die-cut from the molded test sheets manufactured from the same material and with equivalent cure to production parts. For each aging test 3 seals are to be cut into two equal parts in an axial direction, one half part shall be aged and on the other half part the original hardnes

15、s shall be measured. The average of three hardness measurements on different specimens shall be taken on each half part and be reported.
