SCOPE The material defined by this specification is one
2、 component, paste-like, curing anaerobic material, which sets between closely fitted metal surfaces and prevents loosening and leakage from shock and vibration. 2. APPLICATION This material was originally released for materials used to seal threaded plugs, gaskets, and joints in the engine and chass
3、is. This material is designed for the locking and sealing of metal tapered threads and fittings, low strength; 150 C continuous use temperature and pressure to 2.5 bar; solvent resistance. Not recommended for use on thermoplastic materials where stress cracking of the plastic could result. Users are
4、 recommended to confirm compatibility of the product with such substrates. Prior to the release for a particular application and in addition to the requirements specified herein, full evaluation with the assembled part must be ensured by the affected Component Engineering activity. 3.
