3、cifying the method of evaluating influence of the transient voltage generated by operation of the vehicle electric & electronic components on system control. 2. SCOPE This standard applies to the electronic control module mounted to the vehicle manufactured by GMDAT. 3. DEFINITION OF TERMS 3.1. Elec
4、tromagnetic environment Whole electromagnetic phenomena existing in a specific place 3.2. Electromagnetic disturbance Electromagnetic phenomena that drops performance of the device, equipment and system or exerts harmful influences on the living creatures, etc. (Electromagnetic disturbance can be el
5、ectromagnetic noise, unnecessary signal or the change of electromagnetic medium itself.) 3.3. Electromagnetic interference (EMI) Performance drop of the equipment, system, etc. by electromagnetic disturbance (Disturbance is the cause of interference.) 3.4. Electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) Capabil
6、ity of the equipment or system to operate satisfactorily in the electromagnetic environment without causing excessive electromagnetic disturbance 3.5. Electromagnetic immunity Capability of the equipment or system to operate normally in the electromagnetic environment without performance drop 3.6. E
7、lectromagnetic susceptibility (EMS) Incapability of the equipment or system to operate normally under the electromagnetic disturbance without performance drop (lack of immunity) 4. Oscilloscope It shall have a minimum bandwidth of 500MHz and capable of 1GIGA sampling per second. 5. TEST PLAN Prior to each test, the te
9、st plan shall be established. Items to be specified in the test plan: vehicle spec, test conditions, special notes for testing 6. TEST SETUP AND TEST METHOD 6.1. Vehicle condition during test 6.1.1. All loads except for the required test equipment shall be removed from the vehicle inside. 6.1.2. Tes
10、t shall be carried out with attention paid to ventilation as engine may be ON for test. 6.1.3. Operate electric/electronic devices and components accessible by the driver and record special facts, if any, in the test plan. 6.2. Test mode 6.2.1. Mode A: After switching from vehicle ignition OFF into
11、ignition ON, monitor the output signal of the electronic control module while turning ON/OFF the loads to the electric & electronic components: (1) Electric & electronic component loads accessible by the driver (The load varies depending on the electric & electronic component load option of the test

Test method 6.4.1. For each of the electronic control modules mounted in the test vehicle, monitor the monitoring si
17、gnal according to each test mode (A, B, C) in clause 6.2. 6.4.2. While monitoring, output the waveform from each signal terminal. 6.4.3. Record on the report if the output signal meets the test result evaluation criteria in clause 7. 7. TEST RESULT EVALUATION CRITERIA For each electronic control mod
18、ule, acceptance/rejection per test results for modes A, B and C shall be based on the requirements in each module drawing. 7.1. Region of performance Region : No faulty operation during/after exposure to electrostatic application Region : Faulty operation is present during electrostatic application
