The test facilities and equipment shall be in good working order and shall have a valid cal
10、ibration label. 3.1.2 Alternatives. Alternative test facilities and equipment may also be used. However, all measuring variables as specified in this standard shall be determined correctly with respect to their physical definition. 3.1.3 Facilities. 3.1.3.1 According to the stated standards, test me

Unless otherwise specified in the relevant tests, the tests
17、 shall be performed in the as received condition at (23 5) C. 3.3.1 Environmental Conditions. Not applicable. 3.3.2 Test Conditions. Deviations from the requirements of this standard shall have been agreed upon. Such requirements shall be specified on component drawings, test certificates, reports,
18、etc. 3.4 Instructions. Not applicable. 3.5 Data. Not applicable. 3.6 Safety. This standard may involve hazardous materials, operations, and equipment. This standard does not propose to address all the safety problems associated with its use. It is the responsibility of the user of this standard to e
19、stablish appropriate safety and health practices and determine the applicability of regulatory limitations prior to use. 3.7 Documentation. Samples of components or material released to this standard shall be tested for conformity with the requirements of this standard and approved by the responsibl
20、e GM Department prior to the start of delivery of production level components or materials. Any change to the component or material, e.g., design, function, properties, manufacturing process and/or location of manufacture requires a new release of the product. It is the sole responsibility of the su
21、pplier to provide the customer, unsolicited, with documentation of any change or modification to the product/process, and to apply for a new release. If not otherwise agreed to, the entire verification test shall be repeated and documented by the supplier prior to start of delivery of the modified o
22、r changed product. In some cases, a shorter test can be agreed to between the responsible GM department and the supplier. 3.7.1 Test Results. The results of the tests shall be summarized in a test report. 3.7.2 Deviations from Test Procedure. Deviations from the requirements of the test procedures s
23、hall have been agreed upon. Such requirements shall be specified on component drawings, test certificates, reports, etc. 4 Requirements and Procedure 4.1 General. 4.1.1 The single components shall comply with the safety requirements to ECE-R21. 4.1.2 Plastic and metal parts shall be free from burrs
24、in safety zones and areas which may cause injuries during installation and transport. 4.1.3 Electrical Tests. All electrical and electronic tests shall be examined to GMW3172. The coding is to be carried out from the individual parts of this standard. In case of missing information, coordination wit
25、h the release engineer is to be made. 4.1.4 Materials. All materials and surface treatments of components shall comply with the drawing specifications and release data and shall be selected to fulfill the loads during vehicle operation. Chlorofluorocarbon (CFC) - free foams only may be used for the
26、seals. 4.1.5 Identification. The following shall be easily legible and permanently attached to the components: GM trademark to GMW16331. Date of manufacture to GMW16331. Manufacturer (letter symbol) to GMW16331. Part number. Materials designation to VDA 260. 4.1.6 Test Temperature. Unless otherwise
27、specified, the tests shall be performed at (+23 5) C. 4.1.7 Installed Position, Test Position, Test Setup. The test position during the tests per this standard shall correspond with the drawing. During all tests having an influence on the function of the single components, the test setup shall corre
28、spond with vehicle installed position. 4.1.8 Odor. The odor characteristics of the air deflection parts shall fulfill the requirements to GMW3205, Rating 6 (minimum). Test all single components to GMW3235- B - T1 2 mg (maximum). 4.1.10 Other Methods. On principle, other testing devic
30、es and test methods are also permissible as long as they assure that the parameters stipulated in the requirements are correctly recorded. 4.1.11 Test Medium. Unless otherwise specified, a mixture of 50% water and 50% antifreeze concentrate by volume to the released coolant shall be used as test med
31、ium. 4.2 Visual and Dimensional Inspections. In the as received condition the single components shall not have any visible damages and defects which can impair their function or appearance. Dimensions of heating modules, air conditioning modules and heater cores shall be within the tolerance ranges
32、specified on the drawings and/or releases. Bearing surfaces shall be lubricated. 4.3 Leak Tests. 4.3.1 Air Leak Tests. Within a temperature range from -30 C to +60 C, the single components shall comply with the following requirements: Allowed air leak rate: Heater flaps: 1 L/s Temperature flap: (in
33、full cold and full hot): 1 L/s Ventilation flap: 1 L/s Defrost flap in Air Conditioning mode: 0.5 L/s Recirculating flap: 1 L/s Housing/Joints: 1 L/s Blower Motor Joint: 1 L/s Blower Control Interface: 0.5 L/s Connector interface: 0.5 L/s Test Pressure: 250 Pa Test Range: 50 Pa steps over the range
34、Allowed air leak rate: Tolerance for all doors is 0.3 L/s Note: No spot leaks are allowed in the Defrost outlet area on the HVAC Module bench test. Air leak valid for the complete defrost opening to the defrost nozzle interface. Air leak velocity lower than 0.3 m/s on the defrost flange outlet at ma
35、ximum pressure (250 Pa). The test shall be performed on the assembly with the related control unit. 4.3.2 Immersion Test. Components which are required to be 100% leakproof shall be tested as follows: Connect compressed air or vacuum supply to an opening or hose connection. Seal all other openings a
36、irtight, immerse component to be tested in water and apply the test pressure. During the over pressure test no bubbles shall occur during the test time of 1 minute. The test pressure is indicated in the drawing or is three times the operating pressure. The under pressure test is made in the open atm
37、osphere. Test pressure is -80 kPa. After this test, the parts shall be fully functional. 4.4 Noise Test. On the single components and on the assembly of vehicle heating and air conditioning, disturbing noise as rattle, scrape, squeal, whistle, or buzz may not occur. This is also applicable to moveme
38、nts of media in the assembly, in single components or parts thereof. Airflow noise in any flap position and blower speed, or due to leak air is not allowed. An audio test (acoustic evaluation) is made during system operation; vibrations from driving operation are simulated by knocking. 4.5 Temperatu
39、re Resistance. Detailed information is indicated in the individual parts of this standard. 4.6 Corrosion Test. 4.6.1 Engine Compartment Components. Single components partly or entirely located in the engine compartment shall fulfill the requirements to GMW3286. 4.6.2 Interior Components. Single inte
