Change Notice: NEW SPECIFICATION 1.0 APPLICATION This specification covers Autodeposition /AquenceCoatings intended as an undercoat for exterior and interior applications over either hot- or cold-rolled steel. They are both water based
4、 materials exhibiting low VOC, no HAPS and no heavy metals. Aquence Coatings can be commonly referred to as AQ 866 or AQ 930. 1.1 Interior Applications- Aquence 866 cures when exposed for 20 minutes at 230F (110C) and can be top coated below 250F (121C). - AQ 866 may exhibit poor inter-coat adhesion
5、 so it is recommended that adhesion tests, before and after humidity, be used to determine compatibility to subsequent topcoats. 1.2 Interior or Exterior Applications Aquence 930 cures when exposed for 30 minutes at 375F (177C) and can be top coated below 450F (232C). 2.0 SCOPE This specification ap
