This release of the family member is known to the Stan

7、dards Development Organizations (i.e. ARIB, CWTS, ETSI, T1, TTA, TTC) as the “3GPP Release 1999“. Source ITU-T Recommendation Q.1741.1 was prepared by ITU-T Study Group SSG (2001-2004) and approved under the WTSA Resolution 1 procedure on 29 April 2002. Q.1741.1 (04/2002) FOREWORD The International Telecommunication Union (ITU) is the United Nations specialized agency in the field of telecommunications. The ITU Telecommunication Standardization Sector (ITU-T) is a permanent organ of ITU. ITU-T is r

9、esponsible for studying technical, operating and tariff questions and issuing Recommendations on them with a view to standardizing telecommunications on a worldwide basis. The World Telecommunication Standardization Assembly (WTSA), which meets every four years, establishes the topics for study by t

10、he ITU-T study groups which, in turn, produce Recommendations on these topics. The approval of ITU-T Recommendations is covered by the procedure laid down in WTSA Resolution 1. In some areas of information technology which fall within ITU-Ts purview, the necessary standards are prepared on a collabo

11、rative basis with ISO and IEC. NOTE In this Recommendation, the expression “Administration“ is used for conciseness to indicate both a telecommunication administration and a recognized operating agency. 32、twork“. This release of the family member is known to the Standards Development Organizations (i.e. ARIB, CWTS, ETSI, T1, TTA, TTC) as the “3GPP Release 1999“. The core network interfaces identified in this Recommendation and the radio interfaces identified in ITU-R Rec. M.1457 1 constitute a comple

33、te system specification for the 3rd generation mobile system for terrestrial usage of this IMT-2000 family member . It is the intent of the ITU-T that the references in this Recommendation are only to specifications which specify the network aspects of this IMT-2000 family member. In the event that

34、a referenced specification also includes material that specifies any of the radio aspects of this IMT-2000 family member, ITU-R Rec.
