1、u - - MIL- G 81065A(OS) AMENDMENT 2 AMENDMENT 1 9 April 1969 MILITARY SPECIFICATION GYRO-PENDULUM ASSEMBLY (For Torpedo Mk 46 Mod O and Mk 46 Mod 1) This amendment forms a part of Military Specification MIGG 81065A(S) of 27 March 1967 and has been approved by the Naval Ordnance Systems Command, Depa

2、rtment of the Navy. Page 5, paragraph 3.3.2.2 (e). Delete and substitute: ”(e) The power factor correction capacitor (C10 on Drawing 2089913) shall be selected so that with 26 plus or minus O. 1 vrms (4.8 kilocycles (kc) plus or minus 10 cps) the current is 290 plus or minus 30 ma at a power factor

3、of O. 8 to O. 96 leading at room temperature. At O degrees and plus 160 degrees F the current shall be 290 plus or minus 50 ma and the power factor O. 8 to O. 96 leading. Page 12, paragraph 4.1. Delete and substitute: “4.1 Responsibility for inspection. Unless otherwise specified in the contract or

4、purchase order, the supplier is responsible for the performance of all in- spection requirements as specified herein. Except as otherwise specified in the contract or order, the supplier may use his own or any other facilities suitable for the performance of the inspection requirements specified her

5、ein, unless disapproved by the Government. The Government reserves the right to perform any of the inspections set forth in the specification where such in- spections are deemed necessary to assure supplies and services conform to prescribed requirements. 6、lete and substitute: “4.3.2 Periodic production sampling. Periodic production samples shall be selected from units that have passed the acceptance inspections of 4.7 satis- factorily. These samples shall be subjected to the tests of 4.6 at an activity designated by the procuring activity. Periodic p

7、roduction sampling shall be as follows: Step 1. Upon initiation of production, select at random 1 unit from each group of 30 units. 9、nd. Each sample so selected shall be numbered consecutively, starting with a sample number one greater than the highest sample number selected in Step 1. 4.3.2.1 Defective units. When a defective unit is found in any group, accep- tance of ali units on hand shall be withheld and the contractor shall

10、 (a) Determine the cause of the defect. ) Take the necessary action to correct or eliminate the defect from all units on hand and, if so directed by the procuring activity, eliminate de- fects from those units previously shipped. (c) Submit to the procuring activity for approval the proposed cor- r

11、ective action to prevent recurrence of the defect. (d) Submit to the procuring activity for approval the proposed retest program to verify that the corrective action eliminated the defect.
