19、ean carbonaceous and dust concentrations by up to 25% and 75%, respectively, in the regions of mixed phase and ice clouds. Prediction of climate change due to absorbing aerosols requires consideration of in-cloud impaction scavenging. Impaction scavenging enhanced scavenged mass of black carbon by up to 100% in the upper troposphere.
