Materials and Manufacture6.1 Materials:6.1.1 The material of manufacture shall be from cast slabs (also termed cakes or ingots) a form (cast bar, cake, slab, etc.) ofCopperAlloy UNS NumbersNo. C61300 or C61400 of such purity and soundness as to be suitable for

22、processing into the productsprescribed herein.6.2 Manufacture:6.2.1 The productsproduct shall be manufactured by such hot-working, cold-working, and annealing processes as to produce auniform wrought structure in the finished product. The product shall be hot or cold rolled to finish gage and subseq

23、uently annealed,if required, to meet the temper properties invoked.specified.6.2.2 The product shall be hot or cold worked to the finished size, and subsequently annealed when required, to meet the temperproperties specified.6.3 Edges:6.3.1 Slit edges shall be furnished unless otherwise specified in

24、 the contract or purchase order.7. Chemical Composition7.1 The material shall conform to the chemical compositionalcomposition requirements in Table 1 for the Copper alloy alloyUNS No. designation specified in the ordering information.7.1.1 These composition limits do not preclude the presence of un

25、named elements. Limits other elements. By agreementbetween the manufacturer and purchaser, limits may be established and analysis required for unnamed elements by agreementbetween the supplier and the purchaser.elements.7.2 For alloys in which copper is listed as “remainder,” copper is the differenc

Mechanical Property Requirements9.1 The product furnished shall conform to the requirements of Table 2 or Table 3 for the s

29、pecified alloy, temper, and dimensionsprescribed.Tensile Strength Requirements:9.1.1 Product furnished under this specification shall conform to the tensile requirements prescribed in Table 2 or Table 3 whentested in accordance with Test Methods E8/E8M. The test specimens shall be taken so the longi

30、tudinal axis of the specimen isparallel to the direction of rolling.10. Bending Requirements10.1 When specified in the contract or purchase order, the test specimen shall withstand being bent cold perpendicular to thedirection of rolling (rightway bend) through 120 around a mandrel whose radius is e

31、qual to the thickness of the product.
