16、all be perlite expanded by the application of heat to formglassy, cellular aggregates. The insulation and cover boardshall be composed of expanded perlite and fibers formed intorigid, flat, rectangular units with a suitable sizing materialincorporated in the product. A facing or coating is potential
17、lypresent on one or both surfaces to prevent excessive hotbitumen strike-in or adhesive absorption during roofing instal-lation.6.2 LaminationThe finished board is either single-ply ormultiple-ply. When multiple-ply boards are supplied, a suitableadhesive shall be used to join the plies.7. Physical
