2、vices and Facilities” (SF) Working Group Text of the revised Recommendation adopted by the Commercial Action Committee” (CAC) : “The European Conference of Posts and Telecommunications Administrations, considering - that the number of people travelling abroad (especially in Europe) is increasing eve
3、ry year, - that the use of the telephone service is becoming more and more frequent internationally, - that a standardised code structure is proposed in Recommendation T/SF 2 E on new services and facilities in - that, for people travelling abroad, it seems essential, at present, to achieve, in the
4、first place, standardisation of modem telephone systems, the following prefixes and codes: a) international prefix b) trunk prefix c) emergency services number d) international operators number e) information service for national directory enquiries, - that such standardisation can only be achieved
5、in the long term, - that standardisation of these prefixes and numbers could affect the national numbering plans of different countries, recommends - that when Network Operators revise their national numbering plans, they should seek to introduce a) as an international prefix b) as a trunk prefix c)
6、 as the number for the emergency service O0 O 112 115 118. and that, although a master plan still does not exist for national numbering plans, d) as the number for the international operator e) as the code for national directory enquiries The use of 112 as a common European number for emergency serv
7、ices does not exclude the parallel use of the existing national emergency services number(s), for the short to medium term at least, - that Network Operators, as long as the standardisation of numbering plans is not achieved in the different countries, should make every effort in the field of public
8、ity to inform people from abroad about the use of telecommunications services in general, but the following codes in particular: a) international prefix b) trunk prefix c) emergency services number d) international operators number e) national directory enquiry services, Edition of March 25, 1991 CE

10、 access points in the destination country (airports, etc.), b) from the originating country, travel documents or annexes to these documents, - that the information should be given in the appropriate languages, - that, because of language problems, informations for people coming from abroad should be provided, as far as possible, in picture form.” 1 Edition of March 25, 1991
