SCOPE. This commercial item descr
2、iption covers one type of a knitted jersey fleece sweatpants. The sweatpants are intended for use as a component of the Physical Fitness Uniform by personnel of the Department of Defense. 2. SALIENT CHARACTERISTICS 2.1 Description. The sweatpants shall be all-around waist design with drawcord and el
3、astic gathered ankles. The sweatpants shall have a gusset inserted at the crotch area to improved fit and reinforcement. 2.2 Materials. 2.2.1 Basic material. The cloth for the sweatpants shall be a jersey knit fleece cloth consisting of 55 (+/-3% cotton for comfort and absorbency, 1-2% rayon or poly
4、ester and the remaining percentage acrylic fiber or a blend of fibers with comparable properties. The cloth for the gusset shall be a plaited 1x1 rib knit consisting of 47 (+/-3% cotton, 2-3% rayon or polyester and the remaining percentage acrylic fiber or a fiber with comparable properties. 5、or shall be light Heather Gray 446. Testing shall be in accordance with Table I. The sweatpants shall be cut in the wale direction. 2.2.2 Thread. The thread for seaming and stitching shall be 2-ply cotton-covered polyester or spun polyester. The color shall be light gray, DoD shade A, C.A. 66064 and
6、 shall show colorfastness to laundering, perspiration and light.
