EN 4008-001:20065 5 Design The crimping tools and associated accessories shall
23、 be designed to satisfy the requirements of the product standards and shall allow the application of the EN 3197 installation rules. 6 Characteristics The dimensions and mass of the crimping tool and accessories are given in the product standard. The product standard shall give, at least, the functi
24、onal dimensions for the crimping of the connection element and the inter-changeability dimensions of the crimping accessories. 7 Tests The tests to be applied are specified in MIL-C-22520, unless otherwise specified in the product standard. 8 Quality assurance 8.1 General See EN 9133. 8.2 Qualificat
25、ion Sample and Definition of specimens, Preparation of specimens, Programme of qualification tests, are specified in MIL-C-22520 unless otherwise specified in the product standard. 8.3 Maintenance of qualification The manufacturer shall submit to the mandated body the result of tests which shall be
26、carried out in accor-dance with MIL-C-22520, unless otherwise specified in the product standard. 8.4 Acceptance Unless otherwise specified by the purchaser, the batch and production inspections are left to the manu-facturers option. Visual examination according to EN 2591-101, shall be carried out 1
27、00 % for each production batch. 8.5 Quality control Inspections which are intended to maintain the required quality level are, in their entirety, the responsibility of the manufacturer, ranging from materials to delivery of the product. The pack-aging shall be marked with the following minimum information: the identity block as defined in the product standard; the manufacturers name. 12 Storage As
