SCOPE The material defined by this specification is a lithium soap, mineral oil, white, waterproof, high temperature grease, with zinc oxide filler. 2. APPLICATION This specification was released originally for
3、 grease used as a lubricant for automotive parts requiring resistance to water and high temperatures. It is not recommended for applications on or near painted interior or exterior automotive finishes. 3. REQUIREMENTS 3.1 STANDARD REQUIREMENTS FOR PRODUCTION MATERIALS Material suppliers and part pro

6、0 h at 100 C) 3.8 WATER SOLUBILITY The material, when applied to metal strips prepared per FLTM BJ 106-01, at a thickness of 1.6 mm, shall withstand 168 h at 38 +/- 1 C in a 98 +/- 2% relative humidity atmosphere without breaking. 3.10 QUALITY Material shall be a smooth homogeneous product free from
7、 abrasive particles, it shall be consistent in color and texture, and free from objectionable odors during normal storage. It shall be suit-able for the intended application. 5.
