3、hane adhesive. 2. APPLICATION This specification was originally released for materials used to bond urethane armrest pads to ABS, carpet to vinyl and ABS. Materials meeting this specification do not guarantee that the adhesive will function for all potential applications on a vehicle. The specific d

4、esign condition, including high temperature performance, should be evaluated by a plant trial or laboratory simulation prior to release of the material. 3. REQUIREMENTS 3.0 STANDARD REQUIREMENTS FOR PRODUCTION MATERIALS Material suppliers and part producers must conform to the Companys Standard Requ

5、irements For Production Materials (WSS-M99P1111-A). 3.4 COLOR Yellow to Amber 3.5 SOLIDS, min 99 % (ASTM D 2834, except heat 4 h at 177 +/- 3 C in a mechanical convection oven) 3.6 ASH (based on solids weight), max 4 % (ASTM D 482) Test Method: Place crucible containing the solids residue in a cool

6、muffle furnace. Slowly heat to and maintain at 760 +/- 30 C for 1 h. Cool in a desiccator and weigh. 3.7 WEIGHT PER VOLUME (ASTM D 816) The weight tolerance of any one supplier shall be 0.060 kg/L based on the recorded weight of his originally approved production sample. 9、Y The adhesive shall be stored in its original, unopened containers at temperatures of 25 +/- 2 C, away from all sources of heat, sunlight or moisture. Storage times greater than 90 days shall be avoided. A rapid increase in material viscosity occurs when this time limit is exceeded, particularly wh

10、en the product is exposed to moisture. 3.13 FUNCTIONAL APPROVAL Materials being evaluated for initial approval to this specification shall be subjected to a production trial to demonstrate processability as well as functional performance. Functional trial results should be available to Design and Ma

11、terial Engineering prior to material approval and release. 5. GENERAL INFORMATION The information given below is provided for clarification and assistance in meeting the requirements of this specification. 5.1 VISCOSITY See suppliers acceptable recommendations dependent on assembly plant manufacturing requirements.
