、GM DAEWOO Auto The force F shall be the force applied to the elastomeric component. 3.2. Force FR; The force FRis the maximum tensile force applied to the elastomeric component up to failure. It acts in the direction of the force F. 3.3. Force-application point; The force-application point is the po

、int that the head of the universal testing machine is attached to the elastomeric component or test fixture. The force-application point is located along the direction of application of the force F. 3.4. Velocity V; The velocity V is the constant velocity V with which the force-application point mov

、es in the direction of application of the force F. 3.5. Deflection S; The deflection S is the distance through which the force-application point moves under the force F during deformation of the elastomeric component and measured in the direction of application of the force. 3.6. Force-deflection cu

、rve F = f(s); The force-deflection curve F = f(s) is the relative curve between force F and deflection S during increasing the force F=0 to F=FR. 3.7. Ultimate deflection SR; SRis the distance through which the force-application point moves under FRduring deformation of elastomeric component. It is

、measured in the direction of the deflection S. 3.8. Suffixes; To determine the forces, dimensions and direction or identify application correctly, alphabetical and numerical suffixes shall be used. 3.8.1. Alphabetical subscripts shall be used to identify the type of force or dimension. (e.g.) FR: Te

、nsile force 3.8.2. Alphabetical suffixes shall be used to identify the test conditions as defined by clause 6.4, generally designated by j, which may take the form A, B, C Q. Test samples conditioning For initial sample approval and arbitration purposes, the minimum period after vulcanization shall be 7 days. For routine quality control purposes, the period shall

、 be at least 3 days. The test piece of elastomer shall remain at a temperature 235 for at least 8 hours before testing, and shall be free from strain during this period. 5. APPARATUS 5.1. Universal testing machine A universal testing machine (hereafter referred to as the testing machine), capable of

、 stressing elastomeric components to a maximum force of 50kN at a constant velocity (permitted deviation10 %). The testing machine shall comply with DIN 51220, 51221 sheet 1 to 3, DIN 51223, 51227 or BS 1610, and also comply with the following requirements. accuracy The force measuring equipment : 1
