It is avai

First article inspection of the indicator shall consist of all theexaminations and tests of this specification performed in the order specified under the para

6、graphheaded Inspection methods and samples submitted.”* 4.3.1: Delete and substitute:“4.3.1 First article inspection sample . First article inspection samples shall consist of threeindicators manufactured in accordance with the specification. The indicators submitted for firstarticle inspection shal

7、l have been previously subjected only to the individual inspections. Thesamples shall be forwarded to the laboratory designated in the Letter of Authorization (see 6.7).A copy of the installation instructions shall be furnished with each first article inspection sample inaccordance with 3.11.1.”* 4.

12、on reliability tests.” Test level Eshall be used.”4.4.3.2.1: Delete and substitute:“4.4.3.2.1 All equipment test . Equipment shall be tested for 75 hours (25 cycles oftable III). Prior to the 75 hour test on each equipment, a burn-in period may be used at the optionof the contractor. If the burn-in

13、period is to be used, the details thereof must be included in theapproved test procedures. To determine whether or not the MTBF is being met at any timeduring the contract, the operating test hours and the failures (not counting burn-in failures orburn-in operating time) shall be totaled and the res

14、ults compared with the reject line of test planXXIX of MIL-STD-781. (Extend the line as necessary to accommodate the data.) These totalsshall accumulate so that at any one time the experience from the beginning of the contract isincluded. At the conclusion of each month, the test results shall be se

15、nt to the procuring activityand to Naval Air Systems Command, Avionics Division. At any time that the current totals oftest hours and test failures plotted on test plan XXIX curves show a reject situation, the procuringactivity shall be notified. The procuring activity reserves the right to stop the

16、 acceptance ofequipment at any time that a reject situation exists pending a review of the contractors efforts toimprove the equipment, the equipment parts, the equipment workmanship, etc., so that the entirecompilation will show other than a reject decision.”PAGE 19* 4.4.3.3.2: Delete the first sen
