19、s water-tight integrity for the life of the building in a continuously orintermittently moist environment and may be subject to con-tinuous or intermittent hydrostatic pressure. It should resistchemicals that can harm the membrane and root growth. Thisguide lists minimum performance attributes requi
20、red of water-proofing membranes applied to below-grade walls. Productsnot previously used as waterproofing membrane materialsrequire additional tests beyond the scope of this guide. Thisguide is not intended for use on in-service waterproofingmaterials. Waterproofing membranes and other componentssh
21、ould conform to ASTM product standards, if available.4.2 LimitationsPrior to use and in service, waterproofingmay be exposed to a variety of conditions so no one test willprovide evaluations related to performance for all exposures.Neither will all tests be necessary in all evaluations for specifice
