24、05 MATERIALS FOR PRINTED BOARDS AND OTHER INTERCONNECTING STRUCTURES Part 2-1: Reinforced base materials, clad and unclad Phenolic cellulose paper reinforced laminated sheets, economic grade, copper clad 1 Scope This part of IEC 61249 gives requirements for properties of phenolic cellulose paper rei
25、nforced copper-clad laminated sheets, economic grade in thicknesses of 0,8 mm up to 3,2 mm. This standard covers materials with different requirements on flammability, designated according to the following: Material 61249-2-1-1: general purpose grade, requirement on flammability not specified (see 7
26、.3.1); Material 61249-2-1-2: materials of defined flammability (vertical burning test) (see 7.3.2). These grades of material cover one of two flammability requirements, designated as FV0 or FV1 and shown in Table 8. Some property requirements may have several classes of performance. 31、s of an insulating base with metal foil bonded to one or both sides. Refer to IEC 60194 for terms and definitions. 3.1 Resin system Phenolic resin. 3.2 Reinforcement Cellulose paper (under consideration and to be defined in a future part of IEC 61249). 3.3 Metal foil Copper foil as specified in IEC
32、61249-5-1. The preferred foils are Type A (electro-deposited copper) of standard ductility. 4 Internal marking Each sheet should bear a manufacturers identification mark that is as follows: a) in black or some other colour not to be confused with red, for material 61249-2-1-1 and in red for material
33、 61249-2-1-2; b) repeated at intervals so that no part of the sheet is further than 75 mm from the furthest point of the mark; c) printed so as to indicate the machine direction of filling material, if letters or numbers are used, these shall be upright or at right angles in the machine direction. 37、 at 100 C 2E04 10 Mm 6 Non-electrical properties of the copper-clad laminate sheet 6.1 Appearance of the copper-clad sheet The copper-clad face shall be substantially free from defects that may have an impact on the materials fitness for use for the intended purpose. For the following specific defec
38、ts, the requirements given shall apply when inspection is made in accordance with test method 2M18 2of IEC 61189-2. 6.1.1 Indentations (pits and dents) The size of an indentation, usually the length, shall be determined and given a point value to be used as measure of the quality. 41、d. 6.1.2 Wrinkles There shall be no wrinkles on the copper surface. 6.1.3 Scratches Scratches deeper than 10 m or 20 % of the nominal thickness of the foil thickness whichever is lower, are not permitted. Scratches with a depth less than 5 % of the nominal thickness of the foil shall not be counted,
42、 unless this depth is 10 m or more. Scratches with a depth between 5 % and 20 % of the nominal thickness of the foil are permitted to a total length of 100 mm for a 300 mm 300 mm area. 6.1.4 Raised areas Raised areas are usually impressions caused by defects in the press plates during manufacture bu
43、t may also be caused by blisters or inclusions of foreign particles under the foil. Raised areas caused by impressions of defects in the press plates are permitted to the following extent: Indentation class A and X material: maximum height 15 m and maximum length 15 mm; Indentation class B and C mat
44、erial: maximum height 8 m and maximum length 15 mm; Indentation class D material: maximum height 5 m and maximum length 15 mm. 6.1.5 Surface waviness Not specified. 6.2 Appearance of the unclad face The unclad face of single-sided clad sheets shall have the natural appearance resulting from the curi
45、ng process. Small irregularities in color are permitted. The gloss of the unclad face shall be that given by the press plate, release film or release foil used. Variations of gloss due to impact of pressure of gases released during the curing are permitted. 9 EN 61249-2-1:2005 6.3 Laminate thickness
46、, including copper foil When the copper-clad laminate is tested in accordance with test method 2D01 of IEC 61189-2, the thickness, including the copper foil, shall not depart from the nominal thickness by more than the appropriate value shown in Table 2. The coarse tolerances shall apply unless the
47、fine tolerances are ordered. The thicknesses and tolerances do not apply to the outer 25 mm of the trimmed sheet or the outer 13 mm of the cut-to-size panel as manufactured and delivered by the supplier. At least 90 % of the area, regardless of size, shall be within the tolerance given, and
49、 at no point shall the thickness vary from the nominal by a value greater than 125 % of the specified tolerance. 6.4 Bow and twist When the copper-clad laminate is tested in accordance with test method 2M01 of IEC 61189-2, the bow and twist shall not exceed the values given in Table 3.
