Submittals should be kept to the minimum required for adequate quality control.T

28、he Guide Specification technical editors have designated those items that require Government approval, due to their complexity or criticality, with a “G“. Generally, other submittal items can be reviewed by the Contractors Quality Control System. Only add a “G” to an item, if the submittal is suffic

29、iently important or complex in context of the project.For submittals requiring Government approval on Army projects, a code of up to three characters within the submittal tags may be used following the “G“ designation to indicate the approving authority. Codes for Army projects using the Resident Ma

30、nagement System (RMS) are: “AE“ for Architect-Engineer; “DO“ for District Office (Engineering Division or other organization in the District Office); “AO“ for Area Office; “RO“ for Resident Office; and “PO“ for Project Office. Codes following the “G“ typically are not used for Navy, Air Force, and N

37、s JP-5 JP-8 _.1.4 QUALIFICATIONS1.4.1 Qualifications of FML Field Engineer*NOTE: Include any local regulatory requirements that must be met by the Contractor.*The Contractor shall meet the licensing requirements of the State in which the work is to be performed. The Contractor shall provide a field

38、engineer full time to this project during FML installation and testing. The field engineer shall have successfully completed manufacturers training for handling and installing FML systems, as well as have at least 100,000 square meter one-million square feet of installation experience. Submit a lett

39、er providing evidence of the Contractors and the field engineers experience, training, and licensing. Statements of previous FML job experience shall be provided with a point of contact, a phone number, address, the type of installation, and the current status of the installation.1.5 QUALITY ASSURAN

40、CE1.5.1 Flexible Membrane Liner Drawing RequirementsSubmit drawings of the FML installation indicating the locations of field seams, penetrations, contours, and transitions and details of penetrations, boots, and miscellaneous components.1.5.2 FML Manufacturers RepresentativeSubmit a letter, prior t

41、o placing the FML, from the FML manufacturer naming their authorized representative complete with their address, phone number, and a point of contact.1.6 Liner Manufacturers CertificationFollowing the successful installation and testing of the liner, submit a letter signed by the liner manufacturers

42、 authorized representative certifying that the liner installation and testing results are satisfactory and that each meets the companys quality expectations and warranty. Include in the letter the representatives name, address, phone number, and qualifications for being a manufacturers representativ
