10、ura, India from the incense (agrabati) value chain within the context of a sustainable resource base. Target Group: Poor rural women in lower Tripura earning less than USD$1 per day,This table is designed to be as intuitive as possible and to provide a link between critical problems, upgrading strat

11、egies and the actual intervention activities. Points to note are: The two columns under upgrading strategies allow researchers to both identify the broad category of upgrading strategy (i.e. functional / process / product upgrading) as well as offering a clearer description of the specific objective

12、 (i.e. organise sustainable production of jigat). Indicators can be generated to monitor outputs, outcomes and broad impacts (such as poverty r

14、eduction and environmental sustainability that are measured at the level of the general objective). Description of stakeholder consultation As important as workshops are the detailed bilateral and focus group discussions that researchers will hold with key actors during the diagnostic study process. Workshops are not a particularly effective format for generating information from sever
